Art Collection "Sandro Pertini"
The museum was set up following the endowment of works of art former President Sandro Pertini to the city of Savona, who had a particular affection for it. The collection is arranged in PALAZZO DELLA LOGGIA inside the monumental location PRIAMAR. The collection consists of about a hundred works provided as official gifts, gifts by various artists and personal purchases former by the President. Among the works it is possible to admire a sampling of contemporary national and international art. The Historical and Archaeological Civic Museum:
Opened in 1990 it represents a successful synthesis of the most important works of the ancient archaeological collections in Savona and the results of major excavation activities held by 'Institute of Ligurian Studies in the Priamar, starting from 1956. Visits are allowed by Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 12:30 and 15:00 to 17:00, Sunday 15:00 to 17:00 Admission fee.

Civic Museum of Renata Cuneo:
The museum is located in San Bernardo Palace in the Priamar and it was opened in 1990, the gallery is on two floors. In the lower part there is the "gipsoteca", a collection of works in plaster while, in the upper floor are exhibited several works in bronze, wax, clay, ceramics. The museum is open to the public from Monday to Saturday 8:30 to 12:30 with an input charge (combined ticket with the museum Pertini). For tours and groups there is the possibility of opening on request by contacting the Secretariat office.

Treasure Museum - Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta:
The museum was founded in 1982 in the places of the Masseria, which is also the access to the choir of Church. Inside are exhibited paintings and sculptures as well as numerous liturgical gold vestments. Among the important works to be mentioned are: LA CROCE GARA, IL PASTORALE DEL PAPA GIULIO II, won at the end of 1400, LO STENSORIO PUNZONATO and finally LA PIANETA of GIULIO II. Among the paintings, to be highlighted are LA CUSPIDE DEL POLITTICO by MAZONE, IL MATRIMONIO MISTICO DI S. CATERINA E COMMITTENTI by R Tucci's and D'Andria and L’ADORAZIONE DEI MAGI di HOOGSTRAETEN . Moreover, it would be also possible to admire fragments of sculpture of the ‘400 period. Cloister preserves eighteen statues by Lombard artists, from the ancient Cathedral on Priam and wonderful frescoes by local artists . The Sistine Chapel was intended by Pope SITE IV as a mausoleum to accommodate the funeral of their parents, and was commissioned to D’ARIA brothers between 1480 and 1485. Inside it you can see traces of the original frescoes including trompe-l 'oeil and works of the eighteenth century built by Gerolamo BRUSCO. The apartments of Pope Pius VII are located in the Bishop's Palace, the Pope living in captivity created by Napoleon between 1809 and 1812

Treasure Museum-Sanctuary of Nostra Signora di Misericordia:
Founded in 1959 in the palace of the Duke of Tursi, next to the Sanctuary, started to be built in 1536 and finished in 1540. The collections in the museum have been made up thanks to numerous donations of noble families Savona and Genoa in the fifteenth and nineteenth centuries. It is also possible to see rare and precious vestments in embroidered fabrics, including IL PIANETA DEL DUCA DI URBINO (1623), tissues of the eighteenth century in REVEL and BIZARRE style, precious silver and liturgical furniture. Some of the most significant furnishings are IL RELIQUARIO DELLA CROCE of the seventeenth century, IL CALICE DELL’ORAFO VINCENZO BELLI and the CORONA AUREA OF PIO VII. noble wooden sculptures of the XV and sixteenth century works of great interest votive paintings on canvas with subjects peasants and sailors in combination with models of boats made of wood and silver plate only typical Ligurian are also part of this combination of works of art.
